Prima Tooling designs and manufactures HSS foam cutting tools for CNC machining and routing applications. Our solid HSS spiral cutters come in a standard range of metric sizes, with bespoke sizes also available for specific machining requirements.
Manufactured in the UK, the cutters are available with long cutting lengths for a range of CNC foam machining applications. In addition, bespoke dimensions can suit more specialised requirements.

HSS Spiral Cutters for CNC Foam Machining
Our foam cutters use a four-flute spiral design and are manufactured from solid HSS.
Originally, Prima Tooling developed the range after a customer asked for an alternative to foam cutters sourced from the USA in a limited choice of imperial sizes. We developed a metric range covering diameters from 6 mm through to 25 mm.
As a result, the different diameters and cutting lengths suit a range of CNC foam-machining applications, including deeper profiles and thicker foam components.

Standard sizes will not suit every foam machining application. Therefore, Prima Tooling can also manufacture cutters in bespoke dimensions to suit the component, material and machine.
